Rebecca, daughter of past member Jan Raulin, is a native of Boca Raton and holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Central Florida. Rebecca has been a volunteer with the American Cancer Society for over 13 years. She began as a participant in the Boca Raton Relay For Life then became a Team Captain at the UCF event. Relay For Life is a celebration of life in honor of those touched by cancer.
Relay For Life also raises funds for the American Cancer Society’s programs of research, education, advocacy and service – programs that can reduce cancer deaths and cancer incidence, and improve the quality of life for those touched by cancer. |

Officer Friters has been with the BRPD for over 6 years, joining the Crime Prevention Unit 2.5 years ago. She will be discussing the benefits of Crimewatch in communities, and how to sign up. The VIPER program, a police department initiative, will be reviewed so that Rotary members will know how to look up criminal activity from their desktop, laptops, and smartphones. Finally, she will discuss current crime trends and how to avoid becoming a criminal's next victim. |

Maestro Jon Robertson, Lynn University |

|
Maestro Robertson became the Conductor and Music Director of the Redlands Symphony Orchestra in the fall of 1982 and remains to the present. As guest conductor, Maestro Robertson has conducted orchestras nationally and internationally, among others, the San Francisco Symphony, the Beijing Central Philharmonic in China, the Cairo Symphony Orchestra in Egypt and was the principal guest conductor of the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra in Yerevan from 1995 to 1998. For ten years, 1992-2004, Maestro Robertson served as Chair of the Department of Music at UCLA and is presently Dean of Lynn University Conservatory of Music. |
