This is generally the first fundraiser in the Rotary calendar year (July-June). This is a family fundraiser which, apart from raising funds for the Club, has a secondary objective in raising the awareness of Rotary within the community. It is also a family night event to which the public is invited. Family Bingo Night was started by our former member Frazier Johnson in 1993 and continues in his memory.

The evening comprises Bingo games for adults and children with lots of great food and prizes. Children aged 10 and under are free. It always promises to be a great night of fellowship with the grand prize being a weekend at the Boca Resort and Club.  This year our club was fortunate to have Costco as a major sponsor.  We also were fortunate to have Advent Lutheran School donate their hall for our event.

The specific charities covered by this event are all Boca Raton charities and are all connected with children. They include the Annual Boca Raton “Teacher of the Year” Awards, Children Literacy Campaign, Local College Scholarships and Food Pantry. For more information contact our Bingo Chair: David Starr.
