Boca Raton Sunrise Rotary - A Message from the Club President

When you become a Rotarian, you are part of the world's first service club organization that has about 32,000 clubs in over 200 countries with a membership of over 1.2 million people. All of these members believe in our motto "Service Above Self" and the "Four Way Test" of the things we think, say and do:

Is it it the truth?

Is it fair to all concerned?

Will it build good will and better friendships?

Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

We as Rotarians give back to the communities we live in as well as helping sister clubs around the world to give internationally.

The Rotary Club of Boca Raton Sunrise has service projects in India, Bosnia, South America and Africa, as well as here at home in Boca Raton. Every year we celebrate a Teacher's Appreciation breakfast where we honor the best and most dedicated teachers in our community. We have been doing this for almost 25 years. We provide scholarships to deserving students in need and also financially assist people and organizations through grants from our Foundation.

Working and helping are not all we do: we believe in fellowship and friendship - two integral ingredients to our continued enjoyment as Rotarians. We meet every Thursday morning at The Renaissance Boca Raton Hotel at 7:30 to have breakfast and learn something new from our entertaining guest speakers.
